Terms of Sale
We cannot guarantee stock availability if payment is not received within 24 hours of the issuing of our invoice. No part payment will be accepted for orders placed. Payment of an invoice constitutes an acceptance of the terms and conditions as outlined on our website at www.silhouettescents.co.za/terms.html. Silhouette Scents will not be held liable for orders that are lost, stolen or damaged during transit and courier delivery. Clients may take out courier insurance on orders/parcels. Courier Insurance can be provided on request. A deposit for own brand label printing will be required if customers intend picking up and paying in cash for their orders at our premises.

Empty bottles
We are a fragrance company, we are not a bottle company. Empty bottles are not our core business therefore the empty bottles available on our website are merely there to assist other small businesses who do not have access to the wide variety of bottles we offer and therefore we have a waiting period of one week, on average, after we receive payment for an empty bottle order to be shipped. We do not keep stock of any of the custom bottles on our website as all orders are custom-made and ordered to customers specifications. In certain instances we may have sufficient bottles left over from previous custom orders to be able to supply a custom empty bottle order immediately and we encourage customers to enquire if we have those bottles in stock at any given time otherwise the one week waiting period to send out a custom empty bottle order will apply. Our standard bottles, Alabaster with clear cap and Ebony with black cap are bottles we keep in stock at all times and can be shipped one to two days after payment has been cleared in our account.

All the coated bottles on our website are not suitable for direct printing. If you purchase any of the coated bottles on our website and intend using it for direct printing, you purchase these bottles intended for direct printing at your own risk.

Perfume testers and fragrances
Great expertise has been applied to formulate our fragrances but due to the nature of these perfumes being mere interpretations of the originals we recommend that customers purchase testers first to aquint themselves with the different fragrances before making a bigger purchase. We reserve the right to replace a fragrance with the same interpretation from a different supplier if our current supplier is out of stock on a particular fragrance.

To uphold our ethical and religious beliefs, we reserve the right to decline custom orders that:

- Contain profanities, obscenities, or suggestive language that could be viewed as offensive, disrespectful, or inappropriate.
- Display wording or symbols that endorse messages, figures, or movements that conflict with our business’s religious stance.
- Portray content or names associated with actions or characters that oppose the principles of Christianity or could be considered derogatory or inflammatory within a religious context.
3. Non-Discrimination Clause
Our business does not discriminate based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or any other characteristic protected by law. Our policy is simply to uphold our commitment to faith-based practices in a respectful and inclusive manner, declining only those orders that conflict with these values.
4. Referral Policy
In cases where we cannot fulfill a custom request due to these considerations, we will do our best to refer you to an alternative service provider who may be able to assist with your needs.
5. Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse any order that conflicts with our religious values or business ethics as outlined in these terms and conditions. We will communicate this decision respectfully and promptly should the need arise.

Custom Printed Boxes and Labels
Silhouette Scents will not be held liable for artwork errors for custom printed boxes or labels. Customers are required to provide their artwork in the correct format for printing which will normally be a high res image (300 DPI) or svg file. Please see our blog or Youtube channel for svg files explanations.

Custom T-shirts, Peak Caps and Business Cards
Silhouette Scents will not be held liable for artwork errors for custom branding on t-shirts, peak caps or business cards. Customers are required to provide their artwork in the correct format for printing which will normally be a high res image (300 DPI) or svg file. Please see our blog or Youtube channel for svg files explanations. If the customer can not provide the correct format for custom branding on a garment we will gladly assist with artwork coversion. The customer will then receive an artwork proof before we go ahead with printing or cutting.

We are in no way affiliated with the original designers or brand names. The names used here merely serves the purpose of identifying our fragances which smell similar to the original brands. This will aid in your decision in purchasing one of our signature scents. We respect the original brand names and owners.

Promotional items and normal items.
We cannot guarantee stock availability if payment is not received within 24 hours of the issuing of our invoice. Eg if you make payment 2 days after we sent your invoice, it will automatically become invalid on day 2. Please send a request for a new invoice to ensure we have the stock on your order. All promotions and sales are only available in our Classic Range (17%) unless otherwise stated. Please request pricing if you would prefer a sale or promotion in your own perfume oil percentage. For all our promotions no further discount based on quantity is available. No promotions to be used in conjunction with one another. Base price applies for all Promotions and Sales.

Clients who pay within 24 hours.
Your order, which includes standard bottles and no labels or boxes will leave 1 to 2 working days after the day we received payment and the funds have reflected in our account. All items we invoiced for will be available for your order. We only process and send orders once your payment reflects in our account.

Clients who take 2 and more days to pay.
We send out orders on a first come, first served basis. If some part of your order has sold out while we were waiting on payment an extra 3 to 4 days will be added before your order leaves to ensure availability of sold out items. We reserve the right to cancel your order and refuse payment if more than 24 hours have lapsed since we sent an invoice. Alternatively you are more than welcome to change your order to something different that we do have in stock which in turn means your order will leave as soon as we have all the elements to complete your order.

Our courier service providers
We make use of several courier services. The use of our courier service is optional and we encourage clients to rather send their own courier. We are not affiliated with the courier company we use nor do we own shares nor do we have any influence on when they deliver your order. The courier have there own set of standards on when they deliver to a specific area or region. The payment of an invoice constitutes an acceptance of the above terms and conditions.

Private Label Requirements
Only qualifying orders are eligible for free labels and personanlised catalogues. Qualifying orders are all orders of R1820.00 or more which does not include the cost of testers, starter kits and promotional or discount offers or the cost of courier or delivery charges. The free labels are digitally printed and do not include UV varnish. We outsource our label printing and therefore this will add a delay of -+ 3 days to the shipment day of an order. We do not create logos but you are welcome to send your own existing logo which we will try and modify to fit into the required size for the purpose of the label. Logos should fit into a size of 3.5cm x 3.5cm or 1,5cm x 7cm or 2cm x 3cm due to bottle shape and size. We can print in full colour on a clear (transparent) or on a white, (opaque) label. Other premium label printing options are available on our pricelist/catalogue.

100% Money Back Guarantee
We offer a 100% Money Back Guarantee on our own labeled or branded products. Its the buyers responsibilty to send back any products at their own expense. Upon receiving the products from the clients we will only refund products that are in a 100% resaleble condition. We unfortunetley cannot refund a custom order as it will no longer be in a resalelable condtion due to the custom branding. We will refund private label customers their returns less the cost incured for printing private labels including private labels received with a sale or promotional offer. Refunds can take up to 2 weeks to be processed once we have received returned stock back. We only supply refunds for orders of R3000 and less excluding cost of labels and courier. All returned stock must be in a 100% saleable condition.

Competition Rules and Prizes
Only Silhouette Scents Agents, not Distributors, are eligible for prizes in our Agent Competitions. We do not run competitions for every month. Minimum sales of R1500.00 are required to enter. All sales for a specific month should be settled in full by the 5th of the new month to claim your prize. Judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. The Best Agent for any month in which we run the competition will be anounced on Facebook or telephonically.

Free Delivery Terms and Bulk Prices
Perfume orders of R780.00 or more that fall within a 30km radius of Durbanville qualify for free delivery. A waiting period of 1-4 days is required for Cape Town based orders that fall within the 30km radius. If the delivery period is not suitable you are welcome to pick your order up yourself. In the event of a delivery that does not fall within the 30km radius we will try and accomodate our clients as far as possible.
